Commercial Pilot
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate.
- You must be able to read, speak, write and understand English.
- You must receive ground instruction.
- You must pass a written examination.
- You must have logged at least 250 total hours of flight time.
- 100 hours must have been in a powered aircraft,
- 50 of which must have been in an airplane.
You must have logged 20 hours of flight instruction including:
- 10 hours in a complex or turbine powered airplane,
- One 2 hour daytime and one 2 hour nighttime cross-country flight of more than 100 NM (straight line distance),
- 10 hours of instrument instruction (at least 5 hours must be in a single engine airplane), and
- 3 hours in preparation for the practical test within the preceding 60 days of the test.
You must have logged 100 hours of PIC time including at least:
- 50 hours in airplanes,
- 50 hours of cross-country flights of which at least 10 hours must be in airplanes,
- Each flight with a landing at a point more than 50 NM from the original departure point.
You must have logged 10 hours of Solo flight time single-engine including
- One cross country flight that must be not less than 300 NM, with landings at a minimum of three points, one of which is at least 250 NM (straight line distance) from the original point of departure.
- 5 hours of night VFR including 10 takeoffs and landings to a full stop at an airport with an operating control tower.
You must successfully complete a flight test.

Cost does not include: Examiner Fees ($400), Medical Fees ($100) or Club Dues ($360/year).
Payment Options
Option #1: Pay as you go by either deposting money on account before or after each flight.
Option #2: Pay an advance payment of any amount and receive an additional 10% credit on your account.
For example if you deposit $7000 you will receive a $700 credit, $1000 will give you a credit of $100.
